Asset lifecycle from purchase → checkout → return → disposition. Onboarding kicks off automatic checkout requests for laptop, phone, badge, gas card, vehicle. HR sees what's still in an employee's name when they leave. The "did anyone get that laptop back?" question stops being asked.
